Charlotte, NC

Largely considered the metropolitan center of the Carolinas, Charlotte is now one of the fastest growing cities in the entire nation—especially among the younger crowd. It’s not hard to see why, either. Charlotte has everything you want in a fun city, from diverse neighborhoods to upscale dining to exciting cultural centers. To boot, Charlotte is just a few hours drive from some of America’s best beaches to the east and wondrous mountainscapes to the west.

It’s no surprise, then, that Charlotte also has a booming beer scene. Charlotte breweries joined the craft beer revolution starting in the 2000s, and there are now more than 30 breweries in Charlotte overall. Whereas a couple of decades ago you’d be hard pressed to find a good beer in town, Charlotte breweries now offer a little bit of everything for everyone. Want a kid friendly brewery? Charlotte’s got that. Are you only into European-style lagers? Yeah, Charlotte has you covered there, too. Are you into experimental IPAs? Well, you’re in luck because Charlotte breweries make them in spades. At this point, we’re starting to wonder what breweries in Charlotte can’t do.
